This free 7 day inner healing mini course will teach you the basics of inner healing and start you on your journey of praying through your own hurts. Each day also includes a free devotional download to take what you’ve learned deeper into personal application.
Inner healing is a powerful tool for bringing relief to our deepest hurts. Emotional pain, traumatic memories, tormenting thoughts, and relationship issues are all things that inner healing can help.
Here’s a preview of the topics covered each day of the course:
Day 1: Forgiveness
Forgiveness can be a touchy subject. We hate being told to forgive, we struggle to forgive those who have wronged us, we ache when others withhold forgiveness from us; ultimately many of us are walking around with many misconceptions about forgiveness and what it means to forgive someone.
In counseling and inner healing ministry I have seen over and over how forgiveness is often the key to breakthrough.
Day 2: How we See God
Sometimes we need to forgive God. Not because he has done anything wrong, but because we are holding unforgiveness towards him. Other times it is people in our life who have shaped the way we view God that we need to forgive.
Day 3: How to Hear God’s Voice
The best thing you can do to for your personal inner healing is to be in constant conversation with God. Unfortunately, many Christians still struggle with how to hear Godโs voice. Training your โearsโ to hear begins with learning to discern the voices you listen to on a daily basis.
Day 4: Steps to Emotional Healing
The steps are simple, but healing is a journey. You may go through these steps dozens of times with different emotions or events before you find significant breakthrough. Every time you go through the steps though, things are shifting, healing is taking place.
Day 5: Generational Healing
For some reason talking about generational sin tends to freak people out. There really is no need though to let it get you scared. Scripture tells us that the sins of the father can affect the family up to 3-4 generations later (Deuteronomy 5:9; Exodus 20:5). All we are doing with generational healing is believing that scripture to be true and applying the steps for healing.
Day 6: Avoiding False Sources of Healing
False sources of healing is a heavy but important topic in discussing inner healing.ย The question is not if we will get wounded in life, but what we will do with those wounds.
The choice to pursue healing is not enough though; in our attempts to heal our woundedness we can actually fall into the trap of going after our healing in a way that brings more of the same wounding.
Day 7: Nurturing Your Healing
Just like growing a garden starts before you have any flowers, nurturing your healing starts before you even experience any major healing or breakthrough. Yes, nurture is important for maintaining what you receive, but it’s also important for cultivating a posture of receiving.
